Description
Vehicle Speed Sensors measure transmission/transaxle output or wheel speed. The Engine Control Unit (ECU) uses this information to modify ignition timing, AF ratio, transmission shift points, and to initiate diagnostic routines. Depending on application, may serve as an ABS wheel speed sensor, transmission speed sensor, transfer case output shaft sensor or vehicle speed sensor.
