    		 A SRM sheathed glow plug has a heating coil and a control coil. The heating coil heats up very quickly. The control coil increases the resistance with increasing temperature. Due to the properties of the control coil, such a glow plug heats up very quickly and is automatically limited once the temperature is reached. This preheating system requires hardly any external control. It provides excellent preheating and after glow properties!
